基督的豐滿

經文: 「道成了肉身，住在我們中間，充充滿滿的有恩典有真理。我們也見過祂的榮光，正是父獨生子的榮光。從祂豐滿的恩典裡我們都領受了，而且恩上加恩。」（約翰福音一：14、16）

仔細研讀這節經文，反覆思想其中的涵意，並沐浴在這真理的亮光中，讓聖靈教導我們敬拜這位充充滿滿有恩典、有真理的耶穌。

錢袋裡可能一無所有，或僅有幾個銅板；另一錢袋裡可能金幣飽滿，這兩個錢袋顯然大大不同。基督徒的生命也會有這兩種區別，有些人只停留在救恩的開端，明白罪的赦免的基本真理，但對耶穌的豐盛生命，以及聖經裡寶貴的應許，卻甚為陌生。但另有些基督徒不滿足於自己幼淺的靈命光景，想要更加進深，願犧牲一切、變賣所有，「為要被耶穌的豐盛所充滿。」如此地肯付上代價，結果當然就有所不同。

保羅說：「我把萬事看作有損，為要認識耶穌救主，這位宇宙至寶。」好比一個生意人，當他發現到一顆無價的珍珠，就願意變賣所有的來換取它。同樣的，當基督徒體會到一些耶穌的聖潔、仁愛、喜樂的性情，以及祂對天父的順服，全人類的犧牲，就肯撇下所有，為與耶穌聯合，好得著祂豐盛的生命。

聽聽那穌是怎麼說：「這些事我已告訴你，就是我要留下喜樂給你，而是滿足的喜樂。」「你要喜樂，這喜樂是沒有人能奪去的。」「若你求，就必得著，且叫你的喜樂得以滿足。」

親愛的弟兄姐妹們，你真正認識這位充充滿滿的有恩典有真理的耶穌嗎？或者你還需要靠這世界給你感官的剌激，和物質短暫的滿足？這是上帝的旨意，要你的心充滿祂，以祂自己作為你一切需要的滿足。讓聖靈親自來做工，將這經文銘記在你心中，時時刻刻來追求耶穌豐滿的生命。


THE FULNESS OF CHRIST

Scripture: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth. For of His fulness we all received, and grace for grace."—JOHN i. 14, 16.

Read these words again and again until you come under the impression of the supreme fulness of Christ. Let the Holy Spirit teach you to worship this Christ as the One in whom it dwells all the fulness of the Godhead.

I may receive a purse containing very little or nothing at all, or the purse may contain many golden pounds. There is a great difference between the two! And so with us as Christians. Some I receive Christ with the forgiveness of sin and the hope of heaven, I and know little of the fulness of Christ, and all the treasure there is in Him. Other Christians are not satisfied, but sacrifice all | things, until they can say, "Of His fulness have we received, and 1 grace for grace." St. Paul said: "I count all things loss for the I: excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord." Like the 1 merchant seeking goodly pearls, when he had found the pearl of I great price, sold all that he had in order to buy it, so the Christian I who grasps something of the fulness of Christ, the fulness of love § and joy, His holiness and obedience, His utter devotion to the • Father and to mankind, that Christian gives up all, that he may be limited to this Christ. Listen to our Lord's words: "These things I have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and Ithat your joy might be full." "Your heart shall rejoice and your joy no man taketh away from you." "Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

Dear Reader, do you know this Christ in whom all fulness dwells? Or do you live as a pauper, depending in a great measure upon the world for joy? It is God's will that Christ should fill all i things, even your heart and its needs. Let the Holy Spirit imprint deeply upon your heart the words of our text in all its fulness.
